Hunter S. Thomson contributed an introduction titled "A Conversation on Ralph Steadman and His Book "America." This is a first edition. Steadman's drawings feature New York, the Kentucky Derby, Newport Rhode Island, Las Vegas, Taos New Mexico, Dallas, Vietnam, Miami, Miami Beach, Watergate, money, police, Richard Nixon, voting the environment and Disneyland L.A.
